Nuke EVO should have the points system in there already. You should not need to change anything since it is based on PHP Nuke core files albeit heavily modified from the originals to fix a host of security problems with the virgin PHPNuke files.
First the Credits is an add on to the phpBB Forums which runs under the EVO installation. I will give you the link where I recall downloading the module. I think you posted this question somewhere else and I gave you the sites. But anyway here it is again CodeWiz the download is called CZSite Credits V2 Universal. You will need to register. The owner of the site is now asking for a small donation before he provides access to his modules. As I indicated earlier I would provide mine but I know they won't work on your site because I have modified it heavily.
Here is what I suggest you do...
Register at Code Wiz when you click on the link above. The site will probably direct you to register since you are not a member. Once you do that come back here and click on the link I provided. It should direct you to their download section to the file you want. You may then find you need to make a small donation to gain access. Before you do however you should read though the contents of the package to be sure it is what you are looking for. (I am almost certain that it is.) Then log into the forums and do some searches and ask around to be sure it is compatible with your PhpNuke version. If this is your first time adding a module to a virgin PHP Nuke installation I strongly suggest that you FOLLOW ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS to the letter. You may find you have to PATCH your site first.... but you should not have to if you are running EVO. If you don't know what I am talking about, again it is best to post at the site that the designer of the module frequents for more in depth support and also at Nuke EVO .
Were you able to find it ok?? Let me know how you make out and also if you are getting good support from the EVO folks. They are some of the best guys over there for help with PHP Nuke based platforms
nope, i spent 2 hours trying to get in to the site, I hate those security code things!! no matter how many times i typed what the security code was it kept telling me that I was geting it wrong...I have seen a couple of sites like that, can spend hours trying to get in and you end up just tearing your hair out. At this very moment in time my blood is boiling!
I am sorry to hear this. His site indicated a donation but did not specify how much. Did you try leaving a post over at Nuke EVO asking about the CREDITS module for the forum? It's possible they have a version on their site that they customized for Nuke EVOLUTION. I would check there with some users first. Not much we can do here to help you further since your platform is significantly modified from ours and I can tell you with certainty you will have errors galore if you try running it without significant modifications.
I have found and added the original FREEWARE download to our Downloads area under Misc.. AS a member of this site you should have access to download it without a problem. <strong>PLEASE READ THE CAUTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY</strong>. With any luck you may find it works OK with the need to only do small modifications. You might then find support at the NUKE EVO FORUM if you need assistance. I CANNOT HELP YOU HERE IF YOU HAVE SIGNIFICANT PROBLEMS. BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR SITE FIRST AND FOLLOW THE INSTALL.TXT file to the letter.
Again let me know how you make out. I recall it took me quite some time to get it to work properly but you may have a better experience with it
