Thank you Nancy. We have removed that site from the active ring and put it in the holding queue.
The way the ring works is that even though occasionally a member removes the code, the RANDOM and Next/Previous 5 feature allows for traffic to still flow to sites. We run site checking software every few months to check. Then we check those sites manually. Sometimes the software pulls sites out that have the code there but it is so far down on the site it has a difficult time finding it, or the user has it hidden in frames inadvertantly.
We then send them a note. Sometimes they add it back, sometimes they choose just to have a simple 88x31 button etc...
In the period of time between our software checks we rely on feedback from the members like yourself to let us know a site has opted out.
We have all sorts of sites in the ring so you will get a variety of visitors.
Again... thanks for the heads up. Not everyone puts the code in the most ideal of places, but they at least HAVE TO HAVE IT somewhere visible on their site or we remove them !

I'm so glad you posted about this-I've completely forgotten to put the code on my new site! Yikes. I'll go do it right now. ZZ-do I have to change my URL anywhere?
Go ahead and put the code on your new site. Then let me know. I will check it from our end. If I have to edit your URL I can do it from our end instead of you logging on to the ring account. Easy enough to do.
Just let me know the URL and when you have added the code. If you need the code resent to you we can do that for you as well.
