Do you mind telling me where you got all the games? I've been looking for more to add to my own V3 arcade (on my site). Greatly appreciated if you'd point me in the direction of where to get them!
nuke site. www.nepanights.net and www.wiskerbisket.com
I found some in my search at miniclip.com that I could download and put on the site, but it doesn't seem like I can configure them so users can compete. Unless I'm doing it wrong. How do you find out what the variable score name is?
I need flash to find that out huh? I see that most of the variable score names are the same name as the swf file but...I've installed Presidential Knockout on nepanights.net and it's not keeping users scores.
First I need to ask you if your site is running under PHP Nuke. The nepanights.net site certainly is. In fact it's running Nuke Platinum version which uses nuke 7.6 as the internal platform.
Download the Arcade v3.0.2 and install it as a module following ALL the instructions in the installation files. To do this you must have your own site and ability to upload files to your server. In other words you must be the system ADMIN of your site and more than likely have your own domain name with an ISP.
If your site is basically a domain with only HTML coding capability you might get the flash files to run (they are in the package under the games directory) .swf extentions but there is no way you will be able to do the scoring and what you see on this site without access to a SQL database.
Is this making sense to you... If you are not sure what php and SQL is then I will need to ask you some other questions to help you
It's a PhpNuke site. And yes nepanights is platinum 7.6
wiskerbisket.com is platinum 7.6.b.v2 (and has been a headache! lol)
Yep. I have FTP access. I got that package after reading your last reply giving me that link. Much appreciated! There aren't any games in the package though. I'm wondering if someone knows where I can get individual games.
I've been doing websites for 15+ years. I am a newbie to SQL though. I'm learning!
you might want to check this site out if you don't already know about it
www.nukeplanet.com
Since techGFX has closed down nukeplanet may be the only place for people newer then us at it to get support and downloads for their nuke site. VERY good support service there. And it's free!
Since you are a member you should be able to go into the Downloads section. Give me a few minutes I will put a file under Misc. for you to download. It is very large... 13 megs
In the meantime tell me if you have a directory named "games" in your Forums Module and if you actually loaded the V3 Arcade Module from Nukeworks?
There are some other mods you will need so we will have to take it one step at a time...

I have also added the Arcade 3.0.2 PHP files in case you did not download them from Nukeworks. Follow all the instructions carefully in the zip file. Don't attempt this unless you feel confortable with the instrcutions in the intall.txt and / or any of the readme.txt files. If you have a question you can ask here.
If you need help stop back here and we will see what we can do to help...
Also... Please let me know when you have finished downloading these files. I am not sure I want to leave them in the Downloads section pemanently.
In the Arcade Core Files in the "contrib" directory you will find a pacakge called ArcadeTweaksRC2 . You will definitly want to load that. Follow the instructions carefully. Once you have the games uploaded and the gif files. Install the ArcadeTweaks in your Module directory. It creates a controll panel that will allow you to activate and deactivate all of the flash files so you don't need to load them one at a time.
Glad to be of assistance... come back and let us know how you make out, and feel free to post or submit blog posts, add your link to our directory, and poke around. We have some neat stuff scattered all over the site.
I will check that out. Thanks! Sounds like you're saying it'll add a control panel for the arcade to the site's admin area? Instead of having to go through the forum admin to add them all. I'll see when I get through all the downloading and uploading hehe.
