GAZA (Reuters) – Rival Palestinian forces faced off at Gaza’s border crossing with Egypt on Friday after border guards loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas caught a Hamas official trying to smuggle in 639,000 euros ($804,000), authorities said.

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh vowed during Friday prayers not to disband a new Hamas-led security force and said he was prepared to increase its numbers in defiance of Abbas and President George W. Bush’s U.S. administration.

Ironically maybe the outcome of the recent election is the best that ever happened to Palestine. They are imploding spending much of their time figuring out ways of killing each other to maintain “power”and control over nothing more than a middle eastern ghetto.
