How many hats do you need to wear Barry? Are they to hold your brains in? Last time I checked it doesn’t take any ‘balls’ to insult someone. Inviting the man was a good idea and were it not for his demonstrated ignorance I’d say almost courageous. It’s good to hear out those you disagree with, the bigger the disagreements the better. But to insult the man showed that an education can’t cure ignorance and crude grandstanding. If he had said something like “We at Columbia disagree strongly with what our not very reliable or truthful press tells us you have said, so we are glad to give you this chance to tell us personally what we can’t trust our so called information sources to give us. So go ahead, we are anxious to hear what you have to say”. Now that would qualify as having ‘balls’, considering that all we really knew about him was the pre packaged bullshit propaganda delivered by the govt. and it’s lapdog press. If he had introduced George Bush that way I might agree with you about his ‘balls’. Now go back to Rush and your fellow ditto heads. Awesome? Did you fall off your skateboard and hit your head or something?

My hats off to the Columbia Univ. president. It takes balls ot bring the guy here to speak. But insulting him(as he should have) before the he spoke? Awesome!

I wrote about this too on my blog. Was watching on CNN the bemused expression on his faced when he was laughed at for making the homosexual comment…I really think he didn’t understand why he was laughed at.
