It is always easy to criticize. Now, this notion of socialism is a farce. America’s economy is mixed. It is not a purely capitalistic nation. This trickle down philosophy of Republicans has been flawed b/c these multinational corporations have not been responsive. Many of these corporations have outsourced jobs overseas. We have to realize that pure capitalism breeds greed. Obama’s plan to redistribute is to help the masses get some benefit instead of constantly being exploited by the elites. In this country, 1% of the population owns 40 -50% of the wealth, and you call this a democracy. With this amount of wealth being spread among the few, it is no wonder why the masses of the poor suffer at the expenses of the elite.

Make abortion as common as having a dental cavity filled. Subordinate the U.S. to the United Nations. Last but certainly not all… raise taxes on the very people and corporation that keep people making under 250,000 employed when the country needs the opposite to happen. This will just make a recession in 2009 a virtual certainty. What good is a tax cut to people making less than 200K when they are out of a job because they can’t compete with foreign companies?
As far as jobs going overseas. The primary reason for that happening is that corporations cannot be competitive here in the U.S. They are taxed more in the U.S. than in virtually any other country in the world — but folks don’t want to believe this. Other countries, not only the U.S. open factories and business overseas as well. Also… are you forgetting that European and Japanese car manufacturers also opened plants here in the U.S.?? This is part of globalization that Bill Clinton was so supportive of. The door swings in both directions my friend, but Democrats only point out the direction that they believe sounds good to the American worker to get their vote. Without corporations the majority of jobs in this country would be gone. What does Obama want to do? Tax the crap out of them so more move overseas. How does that help the American worker?? If they don’t make money they can’t afford to hire people? How does that help the American worker??
That 1-10% who are the most wealthiest, some how you feel YOU are entitled to their money? Under what basis ?? That same percent pays the highest taxes by virtue of the tax brackets they are in and in absolute dollar terms.
Yes, I can see it’s a Socialist State you would prefer one where handouts are given just for being alive. A society where everyone is entitled to a hand out from the big brother government that takes from the so called “rich”. Welcome to the USSA.
