Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.
Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques:
‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture.
Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians’.

Sam you need to check your data through snopes. The 2002 was written by an American aimed at Americans. The Email in 2005 was exact comments nade by Austrailans; Prime Minister John Howard , Treasurer Peter Costello, and Education Minister Brendan Nelson. Someone combined the two in 2008 and attributed it to the current PM Rudd which makes that one in error. I also agree with the 2005 version 100% and I wish Howard could be president of the USA.
Well, I’m not really a Christian and I’m still undecided on the whole “God” thing, but I think everything Howard is saying is right on the money. I wish our leaders here in the US had the balls to speak this kind of truth, but as long as they are slaves to political correctness it will never happen.

liberal democracies can’t be based on a “GOD’S OUR CULTURE, SO DEAL WITH IT” approach, they must attempt to bring society together in the spaces it can do so and provide private spaces for group recreation that wouldn’t suit with society as a whole.
you might say that he has “balls”, but all he’s really doing is bullying from the safety of his position, he’s using the entire nation as a human shield against terrorists who will attack if provoked. it’s not about being daft and irresponsable against terrorists, it’s about adapting to new challenges and trying to make society aware that the danger of terrorism is inherent in all multicultural societies, and also that as liberal democracies are established, THEY CAN’T ISSUE AN “OFFICIAL” CULTURE.

The terrorists don’t attack because they are provoked, idiot! That is the definition of a terrorist=UNPROVOKED attacks on innocent people. They attack because they know a bunch of willy-nilly, sissified, wusses like all these political liberals won’t attack back and put a stop to it all. I was a university professor back in the ’80s when all this terrorism started and a student of mine from an Arab country told me, “they are just testing the west. If you don’t react with FORCE, they will never quit!!!!!!”
Pure bunk! Eliminate God from all government talk! Religion has no part in government. They add nothing to society and only leach off the government funds.
The west will not take much more of this islamic takeover tactics, I feel most all western countries will be taking a good hard look at islamic teachings eg: the filthy quran.
