MARKET CORRECTION – The day after you buy stocks.
CASH FLOW — The movement your money makes as it disappears down the toilet.
YAHOO — What you yell after selling it to some poor sucker for $240 per share.
WINDOWS — What you jump out of when you’re the sucker who bought Yahoo @ $240 per share.
INSTITUTIONAL INVESTOR — Past year investor who’s now locked up in a nuthouse.
Seems like Joe Biden at least has a conscience regarding some of the tactics being used by the Obama campaign. Could it be that the venue he was speaking to, the National Guard, prompted his remarks? You be the judge…
WASHINGTON (AP) - Barack Obama’s running mate says a campaign ad that mocked Republican presidential candidate John McCain as an out-of-touch, out-of-date computer illiterate was “terrible” and would not have been done had he known about it.
Obama, McCain’s Democratic rival, launched the ad earlier this month, part of an aggressive push to slow McCain’s rise in the polls after he chose Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate. It included unflattering footage of Sen. McCain at a hearing in the early ’80s, wearing giant glasses and an out-of-style suit, interspersed with shots of a disco ball, a clunky phone, an outdated computer and a Rubik’s Cube.
“He admits he still doesn’t know how to use a computer, can’t send an e-mail, still doesn’t understand the economy, and favors $200 billion in new tax cuts for corporations, but almost nothing for the middle class,” the ad says.
Asked about the negative tone of the campaign, and this ad in particular, during an interview broadcast Monday by the “CBS Evening News,” Obama’s running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, said he disapproved of it. [We found and embedded the video below - .ed]
“I thought that was terrible, by the way,” Biden said.
Asked why it was done, he said: “I didn’t know we did it and if I had anything to do with it, we’d have never done it.” — Associated Press
Do you think we may hear this before or after the next Obama campaign ad….? “I’m Joe Biden and I didn’t approve this message”. Seems like that’s what Joe is saying now loud and clear. Listen to the shot interview below.
The McCain campaign should resurrect every conceivable issue that questions Obama’s readiness and judgment, not look back! Take the gloves off after this last crude ad. Clearly Biden, although probably pandering a bit to his audience, thought the ad was tasteless and you can see that it sincerely disturbed him.

Don’t expect Hillary and Bill to be campaigning too hard… Hillary knows she and Bill will have 4 years to regain control of the Democratic party if Obama loses placing her solidly in opposition of McCain and (Palin especially) in 2012. She would have had to wait 8 years if she were Obama’s VP. In the ensuing four years she will gain additional centrist support as a result and can still claim to be the first female President if she defeats the McCain - Palin administration. Genius…. Did Barack Obama bungle his first most important decision?? You bet he did. This comment from Biden shows signs of disarray in the Democrat camp and may hint of even stranger things to come. Is it the first sign of Obama’s buyer’s remorse which may have been private but now, thanks to Joe, is leaking out?
How can anyone trust Obama’s credibility if he indeed dumps Biden now as we are speculating after the DNC convention rhetoric and puts the Clinton(s) on their ticket? That’s right, I said the Clintons, plural. They will both drive him nuts in the White House. If this happens what does this say about Obama’s judgment to be this country’s top executive and Commander in Chief? Do you think he will be able to play decision making musical chairs with the likes of Ahmadiejad and Putin? What a sophomore! If he risks looking like and idiot and makes a change how will he square all the rhetoric praising Biden? (Bottom line is he really doesn’t care. It’s all about him. If he does what I think he might be thinking about doing he will look even less credible to the American people. That is, flips on VP choices. You screwed the pooch Obama. Why not admit it!
Joe Biden said Wednesday that Hillary Clinton “might have been a better pick than me” to be Barack Obama’s running mate.
The Delaware senator was responding to an audience member at a town hall meeting in Nashua, N.H., who criticized Clinton and said it’s a good thing Obama chose Biden over her.
“Make no mistake about this, Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Lets get that straight,” Biden said in Clinton’s defense.
“She’s easily qualified to be vice president … and quite frankly, might have been a better pick than me. But she’s first rate. I mean that sincerely. She is first rate. So let’s get that straight,” he said.
The comment comes after Clinton tried to assuage tensions last month at the Democratic National Convention between the Obama campaign and her supporters — disenchanted over her primary loss and her absence on the Democratic ticket.
John McCain spokesman Ben Porritt within minutes sent around an e-mail saying the choice of Biden was Obama’s “most important decision of this election.” The e-mail then skewers Biden for suggesting “that he wasn’t the right man for the job and that Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice.” — Fox and Associated Press
What does this say about Obama’s decision making process after throwing stones at McCain’s choice? Recall the ridicules directed at McCain when his VP selection was first announced? Barack’s EGO got in the way of asking Hillary Clinton to be vetted for VP for 100% selfish reasons. Do you want someone with a personality like that as President? Elitist to the core? His speeches if you listen to them careful are always about “I”. I will do this, and I will do that. That speaks volumes about his character regardless of what actions he takes going forward to try and stop the political hemorrhaging. What also does this say about all the criticism he has been making regarding the decision making astuteness of John McCain’s decision for VP?
Anyway you slice and dice it, Joe Biden has some explaining to do. Is he saying he is not up to the job of VP or is he saying WE ARE DESPERATE???
Don’t be surprised if there isn’t a “CHANGE” from Obama coming up and we’ll see Hillary on the ticket as part of some breaking news event in the next several days. However…. if Hillary is really smart, she would decline and wait to run “against” VP Sarah Palin and McCain in 4 years. She could spend her time during the next four years demonstrating with ACTIONS her readiness to be President and isolate herself from the radical left side of her party in the meantime to capture the center. This would set herself up as a “maverick” herself by shifting to the political center and then being openly proud of it dividing and conquering the Democrat party and wrenching control away from the far left. It would be a piece of cake for her to pull off. Obama will drag her down if she ties her political future to his wagon! It will be interesting to see what happens next!
