World of Warcraft is relatively a huge community filled with millions of players worldwide. You will find in this extravagant MMORPG a gigantic variety of quests, equipment, skills and creatures. Well the truth is, this site is not really designed to generate online income. Its not and eCommerce site or set up as a home business online store. Sure we do earn enough to offset our server costs from Google ads, and the sidebar ads you see, but to really earn money on line with a website you really need to be selling something people want at a price they are willing to pay for it.
There are a few don’ts for sure…
Most folks set up a website but struggle with finding the right content and products to sell. In fact most folks think that you need a fancy website to be successful in online website sales without thinking about WHAT they will be selling. When they get disappointed in their sales, the first thing they want to do is blame their website or the way it looks.
Finding online content to resell can be difficult. For an online home business website, you don’t want to have to carry an inventory and deal with shipping products, so downloads are by far the fastest and easiest way to monetize a website. But where do you find content without violating copyrights??
There are a few things you can do…
- Sign up for a niche Reseller Program – where you become licensed to resell software a programmer wants marketed and they cut you in on a % of the sale. The one we have linked to provides $50 for leads that become sales for a company that designs websites for building contractors. Know any building contractors? Who doesn’t? Get referral money. We will go into more of these in later posts.
- Resell eBooks and Software – There are great packages you can find online to get started where authors have granted free master resale rights in order to get published. We do some of this ourselves. It does work!
- Join a Affiliate Partner Program — there are many out there. We like Commission Junction – there servers serve up the ads you see on our sidebar.
- Sell Digital Goods — PayLoadZ is one of the best for this, but you still need content to sell. They have an affiliate program so you can simply resell what they have available.
- Make sure you learn about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. There are volumes on the web about this so start Googling. Once you have a site that has some action, get some professional help if you feel you don’t understand how to improve your ranking on your own.

Have you just started a Facebook or MySpace site and you’re looking for something slick to add to it, here is something that might be just what you are looking for. Try embeding some flash games for your visitors! You can easily add arcade style flash games to your website or blog that has the effect of encouraging your visitors to bookmark and stick around your site! You can find entire collections of arcade style flash games over at OpenWeb Digital Downloads that have instructions on how to do this that will work fine on just about any website including MySpace and Facebook, but you have to do some extra work which we explain below. These game packs are tested, screened against viruses, categorized, packaged and made available for immediate digital download. We did it for this article, but you can see that you might develop it much further on your own site.
The download zipped packages for blogs contains flash games (in .swf format) including its respective thumbnail (.gif) along with a simple instruction guide (.pdf) explaining how to configure them so your visitors can play them right on your site just like the Shooting Arcade example above. You will need some server space with FTP access in order to do this seamlessly to link to them remotely. If you don’t have access to a server we provide a link below to an excellent free hosting service.
If you do have access to a server what you do is simply upload all the files in the pack and then link to them in a post, or in a special area in your margin, (See our right margin as an example) or link to them anywhere else on your site that you choose similar to how you link a picture file (.gif or .jpg). They have instructions with details on how to do this in a .pdf file in the download zip.
For example: <a href=”LOCATION OF .SWF FILE ON SERVER”><img src=” IMAGE FILE ON SERVER OF FLASH GAME ” border=”0″ title=”" alt=”" /></a> When you click it will launch anyone’s browser that has macromedia flash running. Just about everyone does these days. Their instructions had some info about Adobe and Macromedia Flash as well.
If your server host (ISP) doesn’t allow file uploading and hosting or you don’t have access to an server, then check out FileCrunch. Filecrunch provides a free file hosting option which anyone can use. Very sweet! Flash games right in your blog or website!
Summary: This is an easy way to entertain your visitors and also get them to stick around and give them another reason to bookmark your site and return! It always helps if your site has interesting content to start with, but providing some additional enterainment can sure help you increase return visits.

Updated for 2010: How To Completely Uninstall and Remove All Traces of iTunes – (So it can be properly reinstalled or deleted!)
Are you going crazy trying to completely uninstall iTunes from your PC?
Scenario: Your latest download of iTunes got corrupted on your system somehow, or was interrupted during installation. Doesn’t matter how. It happened to me. I realized I had to uninstall itunes and then reinstall iTunes. So I thought I would just download the latest version first and try reloading it. No dice. So I thought ok, I would first remove it using the ADD/REMOVE feature in the control panel and try again. Not so simple. Lo and behold I could not remove the iTunes program off the Programs list! Reloading itunessetup.exe gave errors and would not start! In my ensuing hours of Google research I found many posts of folks with just this very same issue. So let me share with you some answers, tips and software that I found from the all forums I researched that will help you solve this problem and keep you from going nuts!
First here is your overall objective:
1. Before you can reinstall iTunes you must first remove all remnants of the following applications listed including all “left over” files from your registry. Yep… that scary place on your PC !! :
First try removing each of these with their own “uninstallers” or using your ADD/REMOVE application located in your Control Panel but in the order you see them below. If your lucky you will be able to remove them all with your ADD/REMOVE program. However!! You might find you cannot get some of these “helper” programs completely uninstalled!
- iTunes Software
- Quicktime
- Apple Software Update
- Apple Mobile Support
- Bonjour (especially Bonjour, the most problematic and most difficult component to remove properly! )
- Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
- iPhone (if you have it loaded)
- and anything else related to iTunes — that’s the tough part where you need to be very careful
If you are lucky the above process will work. If all else fails there is a very good eManual / Guide with Repair and Removal Software written and designed specifically to REMOVE ALL TRACES of iTunes from your PC. It even includes special removal software. You can obtain it from the links below. It is worth it and it’s cheap. It kept me from spending hours going nuts trying to fix this. They include detailed step by step instructions and software that does the registry changes automatically. You have to follow the instructions STEP by STEP however and be sure to read all the instructions carefully first and it will work fine in the majority of cases (it works for > 95% of users unless they have other serious problems with their PC registry). They offer no guarantees but it did worked perfectly for me and judging from the rest of the feedback here on our site, it worked perfectly for the majority of our readers who have used it. Caution Be Careful! It was brought to our attention that there are some websites promoting Perfect Uninstaller claiming it to be free and able to Remove iTunes. Be careful! While it will work its not free! This is a very expensive solution since their “Free Download” version does not cleanup your registry unless you spend $39 to “register” it and you will only find this out at the end very long PC registry scan! The software contained in the above links (which is what we recommend in this article) does indeed do a full registry cleanup and it is bundled into the eManual if you should find that you need to go this route using auto removal software along with step by step instructions.
