Because the FTC seems to think you are an idiot and you can’t figure out that certain online advertising may produce income for the website in which it is on, we have to create this insulting disclosure policy regarding relationships with third parties.  Anyhow, here is your complete FTC disclosure for ZardozZ News and Reviews:

1. If you see any type of advertising banner on this site, and you click on it, please assume we will / may make money even when you save money  (i.e commission). Shocking…I know. The companies actually pay commission to use the space on our website. Yet you still get the discount over the regular price. So yes we get a small fee from them for our advertising space.

2. If you see any type of text link to some other website, and you click on it, please assume we may / will make money or commission if you purchase something there.

3. We are not paid cash for reviews or given free products in exchange for a review. However, if we do review a product or a service on this site, please assume that if it is accompanied by a text link or advertising banner which if you click on it, we will or may make money.

4. Any testimonials you see on this site are from our visitors or readers only. We do not pay for testimonials, but if you see a comment from a professional blogger or a website surfer with a link in their comment, please assume there is a text link or advertising banner somewhere back on their site which if you in fact click on it, you guessed it…someone somewhere may make money.

Editorial: Personally, I think this mega government babysitting and hand holding approach of our new “nanny state” social norm, (in this case while you browse the web), is a sad commentary on the future of the internet and our society in general. Requiring this FTC disclosure on every potentially “commercial” website in the U.S. is simply a sobering reflection of this reality. No doubt there will be more regulation to come as the Nanny State craves even more control of your on line freedoms…
